Tret Fure

Tret Fure
Tret Fure performs at the New Moon Coffeehouse on Saturday April 19th at 7:30pm. The coffeehouse is located in the Universalist Unitarian Church, 16 Ashland St, Haverhill MA.
A feminist and social activist, Tret Fure, is still going strong after five decades of singing, writing, touring and seeking justice for the downtrodden. Her shows are electric and brimming with love. To date, she has released 18 albums, created side gigs as a painter, cook, producer and sound engineer and started her own record label long before it was the thing to do. She has played with the likes of Cris Williamson and Lowell George. She’s opened for bands such as the J Geils Band, Yes, and Poco. She is a pioneer, a renaissance woman and a breathtaking performer.
The New Moon Coffeehouse is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and enjoying the creative talents of acoustic performers. Check out our complete list of past and upcoming shows, from the New Moon’s very first show in 1988, through 36 years, to our current, 37th, season. The venue is handicap accessible. And there is plenty of free parking around the church. Before the show, and during the intermission, delicious homemade desserts and hot and cold non-alcohol beverages are available for sale. Audience members also can buy merchandise from the artists and usually meet them in person.
If you have questions please email our volunteer team at info@newmooncoffeehouse.org or call 617-327-0542. (Please do not call the church.)
The easiest way to get to the New Moon Coffeehouse is to take Rte 495 to exit 51A (Route 125 South). Stay on Route 125 South for about 1.5 miles. At intersection of Routes 125 & 110, look left for a red brick church. Turn left onto Kenoza Ave (aka Rte 110). Then first right by U-Haul trucks. And right onto Ashland St. There are 2 parking lots available behind the church, on both sides of Ashland St. The coffeehouse entrance is also there, at the back of the church.
