Claudia Schmidt and Sally Rogers have been weaving their voices, dulcimers, and guitars together for decades, creating joyful, lush music. Their soaring harmonies, fascinating double dulcimer work, and the mix of 6 and 12 string guitars, perfectly blend with their wide variety of songs.
The two have been perfecting their craft of performing for almost four decades, both as solo artists and as a duo. Claudia sees the world with clarity, humor and wonder and this comes through in her storytelling songs; often funny, always heartfelt. Sally’s crystal-clear voice, boundless energy, and good humor stirs audiences to sing right along with her. Both musicians have been frequent guests on the radio show “A Prairie Home Companion” which helped launch their careers.
